for a coaching relationship: that you will experience an increase in clarity,
confidence and competence:
Clarity of intent and clarity about the realities of a
given situation are crucial for a leader.
Confidence is also essential - if you are confident in
yourself you will be more effective and can help others to be more effective
too.
Finally, being a leader requires some new skills and
attitudes which are not always easy to grasp or develop.
The New Paradigm coaching
style is to listen, to appreciate and to challenge. Coaching offers a space
for reflection and a chance to recognise and build on your strengths; it also
offers you the opportunity to think about things in a new way and to see
things from a different perspective.
